‘peak a boo’, ‘I spy’, ‘pick a hand’ ….the games mothers used to use to entertain their  children before iPods.  Funny, kids still love these games. I bet that if you offered to ‘play pick a hand’, they would  play , with  much laughter, surprise and delight.  Kind of says a lot doesn’t  it?  Just don’t have their iPod hidden behind your back or you may just loose them …as they mutter: ” Hmmmm, I wonder if they have a ‘pick a hand’ app?”

I found this crazy sized cradle when I was in Victoria. I always stop by Island Blue Print  and Opus to see if they have anything new and different.

I also got this amazing scented  ink in violet.

So in the future, if you buy one of my paintings with a purple section, give it a sniff… mmmm…flowery smelling paintings… does this mean I can start saying I make 4D paintings?

I wrote that title and then realized that these were my Elementary School colours.   The thing about  the gold used in school colours is that it usually not metallic but rather some very unattractive yellow(think dark mustard). This ugly yellow with purple ( my least favorite colour anyway) is not really a very nice look. Just saying.

Hopefully it works in my painting.

My high school colours were black and orange…not that I had any school spirit in high school…  I wore a lot of black and may have been seen garnishing bright orange lipstick or eyeshadow. The fact that these two ‘colours’ were seen together was entirely coincidental and should never have been mistaken as a  form of pride for my school.  (I was way to cool for that…ha, ha).

Experimenting some more with mounting stone paper.I loved working on it this way. It almost felt like working on clayboard.

This is a miniature painting …only 3″x4″… a tiny little piece of art.  I love this size because it fits so nicely anywhere, they even sit perfectly on a book shelf or a desk.  Just saying.

Having fun with the stone paper.  This one is on a heavier weight than the previous paper that I worked on and I have to say it is quite amazing. It does not buckle or cockle when water is applied to it.

Honest, I don’t own shares, but I would if I could!
